Ray Of Hope Video - Sivan SWEDEN
Made this video at home with simple equipment (still hard working without studio and other advantages...) to show that I in person are supporting peace and supporting people in need. That would have been impossible without showing myself on the video! :-) Love, Peace and a Great 2009!
Turkish Yavuz Toptas invited to Israel to sing Ray Of Hope
The turkish musician Yavuz Toptas has ,according to songweavers.com, in a blog announcement published 2008-12-03 been invited to Israel to sing his turkish version of Ray of Hope. "Lusia" writes: "We extend our congratulations and best wishes to Yavuz Toptas. Yavuz has been invited to Israel to sing his version to "Ray of Hope", at a state dinner hosted by Mr. Peres for the President of Turkey, Abdullah Gül.

Writing again because of the world music project we have been working within a long time. It is based (according to Songweavers.com
) upon Mr President Shimon Peres poem "Ray Of Hope". We artists have collaborated for peace in the world via our music and one basic version has been made from the beginning. Artists have either done their own versions or used the basic one. The lyrics still the same.
ME?
I am a digital music writer, lyricist and vocalist and have done one english jazz-funky version and one swedish more calm version. My goal is to put them here at the site as soon as possible. Until then you can hear them here:

TWO ENGLISH CD:S OUT
On fast cd-collection with 12 of us involved was given out at first. The original english CD with 29 participants are now on sale and you can find the link to purchase it below. I am very proud of being within the important project for peace, to bring peace through music - worldwide.
INTERNATIONAL CD
An international Cd will also be released, it is planned during February 2009, according to Songweavers.com. My version is Swedish of course and it is called "Strimma Av Hopp". You can listen to it at my website
We have now been told, regarding the big world media interest this caused in August 2008, to spread this message worldwide. YOU can help us, you can support us in this important work. Today is a big day for all of us participating in the Peace CD project Ray Of Hope at Songweavers.com, where Mr Shimon Peres has donated his lyrics and we have made different versions of songs from that. I thank all of the members of Songweavers.com for their hard work with this. You can read all about it on internet in the Worldpress sites.
I did not believe my eyes when I opened the computer today and saw the big interest and media attention this has got. I am proud to work for peace and for people in need so one of my dreams seems to be fulfilled.
I wrote a similar lyric as this a while ago, but did never finalize it, so at first I did not believe this. I thought it was a joke, as many times before. But I suppose the whole world press does not lie. :-)
